What's the difference between this and a CO2 laser?

The main difference is "ablative" vs. "non-ablative." An ablative CO2 laser removes the entire top layer of skin, which gives dramatic results but requires 1-2 weeks of significant downtime. The non-ablative Frax 1550 works beneath the skin's surface, stimulating collagen from the inside out with only a few days of mild redness and swelling.

Is fractional laser treatment painful?

We apply a strong topical numbing cream before the procedure to ensure your comfort. Patients typically describe the sensation as a significant feeling of heat or a prickly sensation. The system also uses integrated cooling for added comfort.

What will I look like immediately after treatment?
