What does it mean to be a 'Type B' toxin?

Think of Type A and Type B as two different keys that open the same lock. They both achieve the same result (muscle relaxation), but they have a different shape. If your body builds up a defense against the Type A key, the Type B key can still get the job done.

Why would my other neurotoxin stop working?

It's a rare phenomenon known as 'toxin resistance' or 'non-response.' Over time, your immune system can form neutralizing antibodies to the Type A protein complex, essentially blocking the neurotoxin from working.
